Thread: Planning on a trip

I can’t find a section to post for advice solicitations for future travels in Panama and I thought I would just post it here. I would like to ask for any advice regarding place to stay, travel package and the like if I would plan to go to Panama for a vacation with family. Thanks!

In Feb 2005 my husband and I went to Panamas using Tara Tours. We stayed in Barcelo Playa Blanca (all inclusive beach resort) . We had a great time, lots of thing to do for couples and family.

It seems that you really enjoyed your travel. Is it catering for the Philippines, too? I rarely see promotional packages for Panama here in our country. How long was your stay there?

we were in Panama for 9 days and stayed only at the resort, Tara Tours is out of of Miami ,Florida. We did have a great time It was our 1st vacation in 10 years.

It is nice to hear that you enjoyed your well-deserved vacation. I wonder when I will have an out of the country vacation like that. I hope I do not have to wait for ten more years!

You don't have Cessy if you want. The Panama country is such a nice place for a great vacation though I haven't really visited the place but I haven't read any bad comment regarding the place.

Personally, I would just fly to Panama and stay in a hotel. It's cheaper. However, you might want to go with an all-inclusive package, because they will help you take care of passports and such.

Personally, I don't care about money on my vacation. I spend a lot actually, enjoying best of best and almost everything(either cheap or expensive). However, go with terri22, as per tour limit....

can you all give me how minimun the money that we should have to go panama?

I am also interested to travel. Can anyone tell me the average rates of the hotels? I do not have any idea if Panama is an expensive city of not.

I guess if you're planning to travel it will cost a lot especially if you're planning to travel with your whole family. Most vacations are a little expensive these days but if you know that the place you're going to is worth it then a little extra spending won't be too bad.

By the way, any suggestions on what the suggested rates are for nice hotels in Panama? Nice ones with comfy beds and clean bathrooms. If it has a nice view then that's a plus too.
