ATTRACTION: APROVACA ORQUÍDEAS

The Asociación de Productores de Orquídeas El Valle y Cabuya (APROVACA) is a nonprofit agency that strives to cultivate and conserve endangered local and regional orchids. At their site there are 147 species on display, but the tiny operation is worth a visit only for those who hold a keen interest in orchid cultivation.

There´s a great bugs and butterflies collection. Also sale of exotic orchids, t-shirts, crafts, and soon to open a cafetria with organic tea grown in house, and enjoy food and snacks at the the outdoor seats in our garden with free WIFii.
