What do you mean exactly? Obviously if you have a home address(the real address) it will guide you there. Either way, it's not like you have much choice. Only Garmin works here, and without it you definetely wont find wherever you wanna go

Btw you have to be careful with it though still need to pay attention. Sometimes it sends you into streets where you're not allowed to drive into or make turns at. Also, i have already ended up in bad ghetto's 3 times already, because it obviously also doesn't know about this :S

    Re: Anyone use a GPS?

I'm trying to decide between the PTY and GPS Worldnet myself. If you buy from PTY, you download the maps to your PC and load. If you buy the maps from GPS Worldnet, you can download them, or have them shipped to you on an SD card that you can plug in. It's an extra $40 for that however. I was reviewing the download and install instructions on the PTY site. It mentions that you can accidently overwrite your currently installed maps. I don't want to do that. Has everyone's experience with the download and install been easy and clean?

Where can you buy it? That would be better than getting it from rental car company - they want $15 per day and then you don't have it for next time.

    Re: Anyone use a GPS?

I just purchased the Panama Maps from PTY GPS for $59. I downloaded them and went through the process to get them added to my Garmin. They are made specifically to work on Garmin. They have all the bigger cities and towns, but not the rural area. I've gotten lost a couple of times in PC, so I think the maps are necessary.

Looks like the price of the maps has gone down since I looked at it a few weeks ago.
