Hello, I am a Panamenian girl born and live in Panama, and i have read the different quotes you exposed here. I like to read i can understand english not that wow, "good" but i do, I speak good thats what ppl said but theres more i need to learn. Anyways, you guys think aaaaall panamenian girls go crazy about "American guys" is not like that, I do like american guys, but there are many that dont at all, not all Panamenian girls, look for american wallet...Why? in my opinion of course you have to watch get to know someone that you like well, someo ne you are dating with, and be carefull, there are many Colombian girls here in Panama they can be bad with you guys, i dont mean Panamenian girls are the good ones or the best but what i mean is that i have heard about it, and u can recognice colombian girls or panamenian girls,now i came here to tell you this cuz like i said i was reading and i want to say what i know being a panamenian, cuz i really like american and i mean i like them cuz i feel most of you guys are nice, treat women nice, lovely you have some ways very nice ways, i haddate american guys in USA, none of them have treat me bad or something like that.

It is good to hear a confirmation from a local girl. I have made three trips down myself and just got back on Saturday. You are very correct about the Colombian girls, I feel pretty comfortable with the Panamanian ones.

Did you go out for "Halloween"?

I did not went out for halloween i was in El Salvador in this trainning from work, but anyways, i dont go out for halloween i dont think is a panamenian party that everybody celebrated maybe in the disco but not everywhere, bye Mrwoohoo, jeje funny...

The reason I asked about Halloween is that I know a couple people in Panama City and they said they were out till dawn on Thursday. I see that "Halloween" is now starting to be pushed.

It feels like the whole world is becoming Americanized. I guess maybe one day we will just have 1 global culture. That will be boring. It's fun to go different places and be able to enjoy different cultures.

My observation is, that of course american influence in Panama is strong, but fortunateply people in Panama are very unique

and you have to try carnaval!

Hi cashia.uno... welcome to this forum! I love carnival too, in Panama City they have quite a "show" on the streets.

It's true that Panama is strongly influenced by America, but I think in a good way. Better infrastructure, clean water, electricity 24/7, more products to choose from, better service, stable banks, cheap health care, and many more are the advantages that not all Latin American countries enjoy yet.

I believe Panama should be thankful towards America for all of this and also for the Panama Canal and Americas bridge (they built and financed both).

Panamanians are proud of their culture and even though they welcome change and are ready to modernize their country and better themselves, they are Panamanians after all and proud of their country.

Oh! I was in Chitre, Parita and Las Tablas, and was really really great!! Things like this we dont have here in Poland (maybe because is a little bit cold)

I agree with you lee. I found the same about panamenias. They can work like American (this one I know ) and can have fun too (carnaval)!

Canal is very important for Panama, and it is like gift from US. But we cannot forget that they "paid" for this gift a lot too!

How can you tell the difference between a Panamanian girl and a Colombian girl? Do they have different accents? Do they look or dress differently?

oh, hombres, guys what a subject! maybe in Colombia there are more white girls..

When you meet a girl, you have to get to know her personally. All girls from a country are not the same.

There are usually some physical features that make them distinguishable, such as their skin tone, accent, hair color etc. But of course it's not a 100% accurate way of telling them apart, and there are a lot of exceptions. However, instead of filtering girls out by race, instead filter them out by their bad characteristics. Typically these party girls just want to have fun and may be after some money, and while they may be good to be with for a while, they aren't good for marrying nor settling down with as they are probably not responsible etc.

So use your good judgment and you'll make the right choice..
