check this out, the lyric says that a rakataca does not even has $ to pay a cab etc, so let me ask you, do you consider yor gf a racataca? I know Spanish and have gone out with Panamanian women and not all of them are racatacas.

No, she is most certainly not a "racataca". Currently my gf is working on her master's degree, works two jobs, and tutors on the side. We just role-play, lol.

Yes we latin women are awesome, hahahah I have 2 degrees and i am also currently working on my masters, not that anybody asked me, but i figure i would trow it out there!!! Although, sometimes we are very passionate, a bit dramatic but nothing major
Im glad you guys get to find a good girl, because honestly not all are, like you said racatacas hahah you dont want to date those lol unless you are a racataco hahah

I could not agree with you more panama.woman80, LOL. My Latin woman has the passion, drama, and brains as well. Since I dated a Dominican woman back in Florida it prepared me for the women in Panama. I actually enjoy the drama, lol.

According to *my* Panamanian girlfriend, a "chola" is any woman from the interior -- just as "cholo" is any man from the interior. But, not *all* cholas love gringos...

Sorry, I misspoke. I should not have said that "cholo/a" applies to *any* person from the interior. In Panama, a cholo is a worker or "common" person from the interior -- e.g., someone who works on a farm, or someone who does manual labor of any sort. The stereotypical cholo costume is a guayabera shirt and a Panama hat with the brim turned up in front and back -- and often with a machete on his belt. It is *not* really derogatory in Panama -- in fact, many people from the interior are proud to be cholos, because to them it's much better than the opposite: one of those rich know-it-alls from the the city. :-) However, be careful about using "cholo" in Mexico: It most commonly refers to someone who is a gang member.

that is true, I have heard a chola also refers to the woman from the interior that wears too much makeup,some cholas do not wear make up at all. Chola can be used both ways, as a way to ofend people or as you say referring to the people who are from the interior.

The last two nights I took my friends from the US to look at the "professional" Panama girls. One place was a cigar bar and another on Calle Uruguay. It is truly amazing just how unbelievably HOT and friendly the women are. Once again they are "professional" but they literally blow the doors off anything at those Nevada brothels you see on tv.
