Hi everybody, currently I am in San Jose, Costa Rica and all I can say is the women in Panama City for the most part are WAY better looking. This is a generalization of course and once in awhile there is an attractive woman. Costa Rica is really a different country and has it's plus side but the women are not one of them. Coming here makes me appreciate my Auzero woman that much more. Poppy will be home by Saturday.

I really am surprised how bad some of them look in San Jose. It is not my purpose to knock the women (and men) here but everywhere you go you see greasy USA fast food joints. Basically there are MANY overweight people and almost everybody smokes. I used to be a smoker myself and I can handle being around smokers but this is crazy. I would hope it is different out in the countryside of Costa Rica. I do wish I had the time to explore outside of the city.

Just wondering how the city of san Jose compares to Panama city for looks, cleaness, traffic, vegatation and landscaping in the cites etc, and what city looks the most livable for a foreighners like us...

also I heard the prices are alot more In costa Rica..... The women are more light skinned I heard In San jose, but not sure of the fat thing though lol Maybe that as well lol

Well, the city has no skyline, is full of beggars and hustlers and the women are not that attractive. If you are looking for a woman keep to Panama. As far as the darkness of skin, Panama is much more diverse. My girlfriend is from Auzero and her skin is very light and so are many others on the peninsula. It really depends on the area more than the country. I really cannot wait to get back to Panama.

Why would you love to be liked only for your physical appearrance or your wallet ?

well, i'm frequent traveler to san jose and to say panamanian women are better is something i have to see. if you hang out at the gringo spots then you see women with plenty of miles on them. i dont usually hang at the gringo spots and the women i know in SJ are women with real jobs and/or go to school.
i'm coming to PC in june so we will see. hopefully i can stand the weather....

Hey Kyle, I was just generalizing in regards to SJ. There were a few very hot girls but it seemed weird to have a "Hot Metro" kind of look in San Jose. Once again this is my opinion.

I would but she literally works two jobs, private school, public school, tutor's on the side, has to take a bus on Saturday's to Chitre for to work on her Master's degree plus she has her own social networking she keeps up with on the internet. I dont know if she looks at me like Brad Pitt? But she told me she wanted a tall, blonde, American man. I guess I fit her profile?

not really, pretty women abound everywhere. i'm currently on a central america tour (been to nicaragua, honduras, costa rica). my spanish is pretty good so i won't really have too many problems in that category except for the slang. wherever i go i always hang with the locals because i can see a gringo anytime/anywhere. hopefully pretty girls is not all that panama has to offer. i've traveled extensively through the years so the "nice beaches, the food and the eco crapola" is kind of old to me.

i reason i ask about the "guest" policy is because i will usually befriend a few locals for guides/drivers and i want them not to feel like my hotel is a prison designed to keep them out. i'm sure they want to show me panama and i want them to feel comfortable.

I enjoy hanging out with the locals as well. My Spanish is still pretty rusty but I find most locals have a great sense of humor and are good people.

I will say that the women of Panama (and people in general) are different than the women in the states. There are things that I really enjoy about my girlfriend but there are some things that make me say "huh"?
