Here is the thing, I have not deleted your posts, just moved them over to the actual adult thread that was a spin-off of the original. You can save my posts, print them to a PDF, or do whatever you like with them. I would like to hear why you think what I say is B.S.?
Well, compare the two contrasting quotes of yours that I put together in a previous post yesterday. One makes Panama look like the Dominican Republic and Colombia are, when in reality it's not, and when I as a visitor to the country point that out you suddenly backtrack and talk about how you have to live in Panama full time to meet a nice woman (the first post did not even hint that), and that the post is from 2007 and therefore is sort of outdated now, or something.
I'll tell you what Sepahunt22, please feel free to save and share your pdf's with whomever. Go ahead and tell the world how "wrong" I am and how "right" you are if it will help you sleep better at night. You have proved your point, congrats and WOOHOO!! Feel better?
FWIW, I think some common sense needs to be applied here... it makes universal sense that you need to be a good person in order to attract a good person. If you're just looking to f*#k, then expect to find women just wanting the same and wanting to charge you for it.
I didnt read in to Mr WooHoo's posts or thoughts and think "Wow, I can be an ugly, fat gringo a-hole who speaks zero spanish and go find Salma Hayek (or Penelope Cruz or Paz Vega) on my first night in Panama". How I read it was "women will be more attracted to you because you will be seen as being more able to provide and thus, a more attractive r/ship partner if thats what you're looking for".
There are universal rules to the game. If you've been around, you learn them, then learn that maybe 3% of the time there are exceptions... if you rescue/marry a prostitute, there will be drama... if you marry someone 25 years younger than you, there will be problems... if you attract a woman using solely your money, there will be issues down the road.
As this is the adult forum, let me say clearly... fucking DUH!
What I got out of his posts was that if you're a decent guy, you're open and friendly, strive to learn the language and have local friends, partake in local festivities/events, immerse yourself in their culture, and you're wanting to be in a r/ship, it wont be hard at all... you will have ample opportunity.
Your white skin wont give you instant rockstar status... a socially undeveloped dork is a dork, no matter were ya plant him. But if you have a decent education, a sense of your own worth as a man, the knowledge that r/ships require some give & take, then you will have a much better opportunity to find a cute gal there than in the states or europe.
That's just my take on what the guy is sayin'...
MRWOOHOO (08-24-2010)
Primate, Perfectly stated! Guys need to get a clue, latin women aren't stupid and can recognize a dork loser with no social skills. Does she really want to be seen with someone who can't dress, carry a conversation, have proper social skills? Dipshits are dipshits everywhere.
I agree 100% with your comment above, in fact, I couldn't agree more. If you go to a place where there are an abundance of beautiful women and you have 0 class, look, dress or act like a dork, can't or won't try to speak their language, etc., you'll have zero success anywhere in the world.
The bottom line is the night life in Panama City (and city is all I can judge since I didn't venture into the interior) is DEAD. Every club I went to was either empty or filled with couples, or filled with $250 a night prostitutes. I went out every night from Tuesday until Saturday, staying out until 2 and 3am. There was not an abundance of singles (prostitutes don't count) in any of the places I went to. In Casco Viejo I went to a bunch of places, La Casona, Plateo, Vieja Havana are some of the names I remember. All either dead or filled with couples. I went to a buch of places on Calle Uruguay, all dead or filled with couples. I went to Habanos, but all it had was prostitutes. I'm not looking to just f**k, for if I was, I'd have found what I wanted at Habanos. Although I don't live in Panama, I could travel there every week if I so desired, and be there enough to maintain a relationship. I'm not the average guy who gets vacations just once or twice a year. I'm retired from FDNY, got a great pension, I travel my a** off constantly and love every minute of it. I have a condo in Puerto Plata, D.R. and spends months out of every year there.
Panamanians are very, very friendly people, the city has plenty to do when it comes to cultural events and things of that sort, and being fluent in Spanish I'm able to enjoy all that. But the night life, from the extensive searching that I did, left a lot to be desired (due to the lack of an abundance of single women).
I'd be more than happy to give the place a second chance, just let me know where to go.
I have to say that since I made that original post almost 3 years ago the city and country has changed. Calle Uruguay is barely a shell of what it used to be and Casco Viejo has always been a good place to take a girl you already are dating. If you live down here and start getting known, making friends, finding a niche, you will experience a whole different world open up to you, especially when it comes to girls. Coming down here on a vacation for a week or two will usually only get you action from girls looking to get paid. Personally I have never been to the DR but I have heard absolutely awesome things about the women. But I have also heard there is so much poverty and desperation in the DR and Colombia that any new face draws a lot of attention. There is obviously plenty of poverty and desperation to go around in Panama but there are also opportunities for women here that do not require sex to make money. I honestly feel you stayed in the wrong neighborhood while here (for your intended purpose) and if you lived here you would see just how much "fun" you can really have as a man.
Fair enough, Mr. WooHoo, things can certainly change in three years for sure, in all honesty. I can certainly agree with you there.
And yes, there's a lot of poverty in the D.R., but if someone goes there or to Colombia and can't speak Spanish and looks, or acts crude or like a slob, then they'll have no success success at all except with the prostitutes which abound in areas of the DR like Boca Chica and Sosua. Prostitutes don't care about anything except the money in one's wallet.
What neighborhood in PC would you suggest to stay in, and what areas have the great night life now?
Just know that it is tough for a guy here for just a few days or couple of weeks to find a "non-pro". My most honest suggestion at this point would probably be the Amador Causeway. On the weekend and holidays, afternoon, behind the Figali convention center is pretty darn popular/populated with local girls and the evenings the club and restaurant strips. Hanging out in places like Benigans could get you a girl that owns (or daddy owns) a million dollar yacht.
Sorry I missed your messages until today, Sepahunt. Calle Uruguay has been DEAD for a while now and the new scene is La Zona Viva on the Causeway. This is an area of 15-20 bars on one long boulevard and is more upscale. It was PACKED with people last Friday and Saturday and is always packed on weekends when I usually go (not sure about during the week). I'm surprised no one mentioned it here, but most people on this forum aren't into clubbing or are more into "point and click".
Next time you come into town definitely head out to la Zona Viva- it's not cheap but the eye candy is the best you'll find in Panama. The range of music in the bars is staggering- salsa, cross-over, rock, merengue, reggae, reggaeton, electronica, even vallenato! If you are a bilingual guy who takes care of himself then you'll do quite well there.
Here's a clip that will give you an idea of what zona viva is like, although this was taken almost a year ago when it was new. The place is packed pretty much every weekend now.

I generally refrain from talking about exploits but all this can't find a woman talk has prompted me to weigh in. I visited Panama for the first time last spring. I arrived and stayed in the banking district. My second day in town I decided to get a haircut and just walked about until I found a salon. I went in without an appointment and they took me straight away. This was a salon for women not a barber shop. While I was getting my haircut I noticed the other Stylist kept making eye contact with me. I smiled and asked her name. She said paty and we chit chatted for 20 minutes. She is a beautiful light skinned Panamena 24 yrs old . Before I left I asked her if she would like to join me for lunch and she agreed and I met her an hour later at the Italian restruant next to hotel Las Vegas. We spent the next day (saturday)at Amador causeway and had a great time. She brought a friend from her work (the one who cut my hair) and her husband for about half the day and then they excused themselves. We spent Sat night at my hotel (woohoo). I invited her to travel with me to chiriqui and to my surprise she accepted and took the next week off of work. We made a nice connection and still email almost daily. We look forward to seeing each other again this fall. The point is if you don't want to meet prostitutes or have to compete at a meat market night club, just go where the women are. The salons, grocery stores, shopping malls, etc.. While in Chiriqui Paty got jealous when a waitress was flagrantly flirting with me in her presence. Panama women are jealous. It might be difficult to find women in Panama, but so far am batting a thousand

I totally agree with your post. This is the approach I use in the Dominican Republic where I've been traveling the last 4 years. Knowing Spanish has it's advantages. I'm finding myself wanting to strike up a conversation every opportunity I get. I have two friends that work in salons in the DR. I've never visited them at work, but because of this post I think I will. It's good to know the same approach applies in Panama. The women in the DR are also very jealous.
Thanks "p". I did not go into the salon to meet a chica, I genuinely went in for a haircut. I posted because hitting every bar and competing like apes for the attention of a few disinterested ladies is not the best approach. Meeting someone usually happens when you are not trying to make it happen!
Anyone want to tread on dangerous ground and compare Panamanian girls with Colombian girls?
Are all Colombian girls considered Prostitutes? Is that a fair stereotype? % ?
Panamanian girls seem to have a chip on their shoulder when the topic of Colombian girls comes up, no?
Anyone want to comment on their experiences with Venezuelan girls and their general attitudes in comparison to Colombian's or Panamanian girls?
Logic says all columbians are not prostitutes, but allot of them are. Panamanian women seem (from my observations) jealous of the Columbians. I don't understand why. Paty resents the "columbianas" as she calls them. I don't bring them up when I am around her and have to be careful not to look when a cute one passes. She caught me looking at one and got pissed, pouted like a school girl most of the night. There is definetly friction between Panamenas and columbianas.
That seems to match my take too.
The ones I haven't figured out yet are the Venezuelans.
Both Colombians and Panamanian girls seem down to earth to me, if different.
Venezuelan girls seem a bit selfish and arrogant and do not mix as much with other nationalities, or think they are superior.
I don't have as much experience with them, so my take could be wrong.
But that seems to be my impression so far... (?)
I have no experience dealing with Venezuleans. Considering that they are displaced from a Socialist country and taking refuge in Panama one would think they would be a bit humble towards their host. It could also be they are deep down insecure and compensate by being arrogant. The theories are endless.
Found out an old friend of mine had his bachelor party in Panama last week. There was no invite for me so I gave him hell lol. He and his group bar hopped and picked up some local talent. The girls he and his group hired only charged $60.00 and stayed with them most of the night. He said there were allot to choose from and hardly any customers for the ones not hired. His take was that business is off even for the working girl, hence the dropping rates. The working girls are good business women and modify their business based upon demand. Capitalism is working well in Panama!
haven't been here for a while but that's nice to know. i love panamanian business women !!
