If women here only went for men with BMWs or Ferrari's they would be very lonely. Keep in mind only 1 in 10 people own cars here. If you have enough money to drive anything you will be fine.

I am glad that people have enjoyed this thread. I always heard about women in Latin America really liking white boys and sure enough the rumors were true. In Panama it really does not matter on your skin color or what country you are from, just be somewhat of a man and you are good to go. Currently I have a very nice woman waiting for me to move down. Only 27 more days and goodbye USA.

I glad everybody has enjoyed. There are plenty of women in Panama so no need to worry. I will say if you have never dated a Latin women, do not underestimate them. They are extremely passionate and if you mistreat them be prepared to get beat. She may only be 5 foot tall and 100lbs but she can let you have it. Trust me on this, I used to know this Dominican girl. (LOL)

I met my first Panamanian girl on a cruise out of Miami a few years ago when I was 18 she was 19. She was/is a blonde bombshell at about 5'1 and I would have never even have guessed she wasn't American until the Spanish came out of her mouth. Needless to say it was an awesome vacation and we still keep in touch. She has bugged me for years to visit and I plan on it soon. However, she comes from a highly prestigious wealthy family and has a new boyfriend, but being the egotistical American. I'm pretty sure I could steal her away. Have you had any experience with girls with boyfriends down there??

Hey Turnbjef, funny that you bring this up. Come to find out my new Panamanian girlfriend's ex-boyfriend wants her back (LOL). He is an older retired US Navy guy though and I have given my new woman ALLOT of reasons to smile so I am not to worried (I think?). As far as coming back to reclaim an old flame, just remember, many people here are very good with a machete. Some thrill-seekers go sky-diving, base-jumping, hang-gliding, bungee, etc. One of these options maybe safer?? Whatever you decide just make sure you are having fun doing it and what is life without living on the edge sometimes?

im going to panama city with a group of lads in May time for around 2 weeks for holiday. last year we went to cuba n it was amazing, there were some really pretty girls, everyone was friendly and we were getting alot of attention in the clubs which is always good for confidence n pulling . how is it in panama is it the same? are the girls very approachable? to be honest with u im not after prostitutes, i rather go for a local girls.
in cuba the problem was that u r not allowed to bring girls to hotel n the only way to bring girls back was by renting a casa, is it the same in panama? how r the casa there neway?
and finally are panamian girls hot blooded n up for good time like cuban girls? in cuba all the clubs were kicking every single night with locals girls n hardly ne tourist, is it the same over there? by the way is MAy a good time to come?

OK, I'm back, sorry for the delay. So you and your friends are going to be in Panama City in May, very good. There really is not a bad time so May is fine. If you have not seen it yet there is a good place to find out about the Panama Nightlife scene: http://www.buscapanama.net/ . This is a great place to find out where the party is happening and what to expect. My personal recommendation for a good time is Calle Uruguay, all kinds of clubs, girls, pretty much whatever you want. As far as getting girls back into your hotel room, some places will look the other way and some will not. I have pulled it off before in a hotel near calle Uruguay. Some places your may have to slip the night person a couple of bucks? I honestly forgot the name of the hotel that I stayed at and since I have a full-time girlfriend I really have not been in the "party scene" much. I do remember going into a club on a Wednesday night, "La Bodeguita", and I remember getting fondled by ALLOT of women. I really dont know why women get upset when it happens to them because it was really great for my ego. I have heard stories about Cuba and how cheap it is and the great availability of women. This is probably more expensive but it really can be a good time. Remember the clubs here really dont start happening till midnight. Make sure you bring your brand of protection from home because the choices here are limited. I actually saw a can of energy drink on the store shelf that comes with a free pack of condoms but I am not sure if I would recommend (lol). Have fun and feel free to respond.

thanks alot for the reply. energy drinks with free rubbers hehehe i definitely won't trust them. actually there was a change of plan and we are going at the end of june. i heard off this other guy who used to work in panama city that girls got attitude and pulling them is not easy, is it true?
by the way do u know any good apartment or website for renting apartment by any chance?
definitely try cuba u will love it there, havana is brilliant but of course u have to go without the mrs otherwise it's no fun

Hi AJ11, I actually took the little woman down to Calle Uruguay for http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Young_Expats_in_Panama/ last nite. It was held at a bar named "ONE". It was worth doing and saved some money (thanks Don). We did a little walking around to some other places and I will say make sure you have money on you. Many places charged $5-$10 to get in the door, some free. The bar I previously mentioned was still there, "La Bodeguita". Did not go in, $10 cover and I have a girlfriend but I took a quick glimpse and it looked promising. Hot women walking around everywhere on the streets and clubs, lots of hot women. Make sure you and your friends are somewhat "pimped out" and you should have no problem meeting the girls. As far as renting a place you may want to try Craigslist or www.encuentra24.com/ .
