My family (Son, Daughter-In-Law, Grand-Son & Wife) went to the Tamburrelli restaurant on Porras Avenue near the big park & the Altos Del Golf area. The food was great & very plentiful. The total bill was only $27.00 for an abundant amount of food - everyone left the restaurant satisfied. We plan to return again and again as we will soon live in the Altos Del Golf area. The restaurant gave us a "Pensionado" discount even though I tried to explain to the waitress that I was not a pensionado. The only complaint that I would have is that they did not bring everyone their order at the same time... it seems that this happens at most restaurants in Panama... at least the ones that I have been to - the food is delivered to the table as it is ready, not all at once.
So you fed five people for only $27? That is good, especially if there was extra food.
That's odd that they bring the food at different times. Almost everywhere in the USA seems to bring the food to a table all at once. I guess it's just a cultural difference.
That pizza was so cheesy and so good!!!! You don't need to order extra cheese because they pile it on. Be prepare to wait a bit after you get your pizza because it's pipping hot when you get it.
