I actually ate here last night with my girlfriend. Very good food. Lots of seafood on the menu. Super attentive waitstaff and one of the more extensive wine lists I've found in Panama thus far.

Tip, have the lobster / chorizo (yes chorizo) bisque for a starter. It's the first thing listed on the first page of the menu.

Price is a bit expensive for Panama. 2 appetizers, 2 entrees and a bottle of wine and I got out of there for $100. Not bad, but one of the more expensive places I've eaten here in Panama though.

This was highly recommended, so we were anticipating an excellent restaurant. The setting was very well designed. The service was prompt initially, though there was a long lag between ordering wine and it being served, and then between courses. The restaurant was not very busy ( it was about 8pm on a week day) and so that seemed odd. Lots of idle waitstaff.

Asked if the mushroom salad was large for an app, was assured that it was not. It WAS large, and had red leaf lettuce and fairly ordinary button mushrooms. Disappointing, given that it was $12 and was not very interesting. The French onion soup was VERY odd-- melted cheese on the bottom of the bowl, very difficult to eat--long strings to be broken. The soup itself tasted greatly of chicken broth, onions were underdone, and the top puff pastry, which presented VERY well was raw on the underside.

Prawns were good as the main course, but the chateaubriand, while quite flavorful, was a bit tough and chewy.

When the check arrived, gratuity had already been added in, which we have not found to be the usual practice here in Panama.

Overall, an OK experience, but for $100 for 2, a disappointment.
