Dolce Coffee House on Via Argentina

I was recently on a trip to Panama, Panama and found the Dolce Coffee House while on a walk from my hotel. I stopped first in the morning and enjoyed a fresh brewed cappucino from their espresso machine made with fresh ground coffee beans. I also had a bran muffin that was freshly baked. Angie, the owner, sat with me for small talk and explained how she came to open the Dolce Cafe.

The menu includes many homemade and baked on site items. Angie had some tarts in the oven while I was there. The staff is very friendly, responsive and the restrooms are very clean. Prices are very reasonable.

I went back later in the day for lunch and had an awesome Bratwurst and saurekraut plate with rye braed made by a Canadian Bakery by Russian bakers. For dessert I had a delicious key lime pie. You have to stop to try the pie!

The Dolce Cafe is located on Via Argentina under the Subway, next to Taco Loco and across the street from The Greenhouse Rest. It has little white and blue tables and chairs outside and a blue and white striped awning.

Oh I love that Key Lime Pie. I can imagine guzzling that down with a nice cold smoothie in the heat wave. I do like going to cafes even though I am not so much a coffee drinker. There are always other delicious drinks being served I am sure.
