    Indeed.
I could also replace my wife with a mechanical doll. I bet that would save a ton.

I noticed the prices of food was cheap in places such as Santiago. But what about places like Gorgona? How are the fruit and fish prices there. Are the prices low like the rest of the interior?

And I think some people do. That is also the difference between being broke in the interior versus being broke in a city or many other parts of the world. Even if somebody is broke in the interior you can always get whatever produce is in season so you can eat. People are less desperate when the can fill their stomachs.

    Re: Prices are coming down...

I received an email yesterday from the realtor that is was using when I was last in PC looking at property (around carnival time)
Anyway we looked at a property in obbario for 250k nice place but over priced, I said I was interested but 250k was to much see what we could get it down to she came back with 235k that was the lowest they would go but it had to be now, not my first property purchase so i declined.
The email read that the buyers were very eager to sell at 220k but I had to put in an offer, now am I correct in thinking that an official offer in panama requires a deposit

    Hi,
Super greedy developers ask for the moon and if they don't find any uninformed sucker they lower the price to more realistic levels. I don't see the market collapsing at all, just returning to normal levels.

The downward pressure on real estate prices continues. Close to 30% of homeowners are underwater on their mortgages and values are plummeting. News Headlines

    Thanks for sharing problem.
There are many reason to decrease price of real estate sector . Because economy is down to earth and people purchasing power is low. It impact on bad economy and other sector.

All over world real estate prices are down. Because all over world specially USA face now a day depression in their economy. People purchasing power is low and ultimately result is price down.
