Santiago, (in my opinion) is really not that much of a tourist spot or destination. It is more of a stop over on the way to the Chiriqui area.

    Hi,
I am from Santiago in Panama. Land there will really depend in the area you are looking to buy, if it is close to ammenities or is in a popular area. Land could go from 8 dollars to 200 dollars per sq meter. If you have more enquiries, I have few properties that belong to my family and that are for Sale. Regards Gloria

    Gloria,

I am really looking for residential areas close to Santiago City or the Oxford school.

Land that will really depend on the area you want to buy if it is close to ammenities and is a popular neighborhood. Land could increase from $ 8 to $ 200 per sqm.

Hi, apologies for the delay on my reply. I don't check this email to often. If you explain me the size of land you are looking for, what exactly you are looking to do(residence, commercial building),then if you will be willing to buy a place already built. Please email me at gloricel@gmail.com if you are still looking for a land in Santiago.

If you can't find land outside Santiago for $4/meter, you don't have the right people helping you. Close in is probably different.

Here is $1/meter, 20 min from Santiago.

    Beautiful gently rolling hills!

$1 meter is a good price, do you see more people buying in Santiago?

As far as I can tell, the rural markets are practically dead.

Between the prices and increased danger in PC I have been thinking you would see a greater tendency for expats to move out to the interior? I know here in Las Tablas it is getting extremely hard to find a house to rent.

The moderator zapped him. It was from earlier this morning. He actually posted on four different threads. I must admit my posting does look goofy when the post I was complaining about is removed.

It never hurts to quote the post you are replying/referring to. It will give everyone a point of reference if the original post "goes away".

    Thanks for sharing problem.
In different places price of land is different . If you search on internet or contact any real estate agent where you purchase land they tell the correct price of land . Your problem will be easily solve.

IMO, this will give you a high price with actual selling prices being much lower.
