If you can find another song about Panama (and I don't mean Van Halen) post it here. I found this little nugget (not exactly a Grammy nominee) on youtube.

"Few cities in Latin America can match the diversity, cosmopolitanism and sheer energy of Panama City..." - THE ROUGH GUIDE
I like this song (Going Down to Panama) and several others they have. I bought the CD with this song on it about 3 months ago. My wife being from Panama and all.
The sound of music is very familiar for me. I heard this song many times, not sure from where though. Listening to it, i started to think about Prison Break, you know about their prison in Panama.
I found and liked this song of popular Panama folkloric music Ulpiano Vergara ,called "De nada vale llorar" , I suppose it means Is not worthing to cry or it doesn't matter if you cry ....am I at least close , hey ,are some Spanish speakers here, I am sure llorar means to cry , anyway, enjoy it .
Very nice cognitive thank for this music video. I love the fresh songs of panama, although the quality of the video isn't the best
There's a Salsa LP with the late Celia Cruz and Willie Colón. I don't recall the title of the album, but there's a tract on there called "Sambúllete" with lyrics that pay homage to Panama.

First time I hear (Going Down to Panama), loved the song, the only other song I was familiar with about Panma was Van Halen "Panama".
Try stabbing the membranes on all speakers and listen to this 20-30 times at maximum volume: Mr Saik - Que Xopa (Las Zapatillas) - plena507.com - YouTube
For the full experience the song should be interrupted 3-4 times and obscenities should be screamed on Colon-style Spanish.
Great songs i like very much.
