Someone commented on this in the forum but I can't locate it. For a "tourista" is it cheaper to buy a bottle of something like Crown Royal at the airport duty free or at some vendor in the city or suburbs? I know that the airport duty free in Cancun and Puerto Plata is far cheaper than at a local store unless you were getting the local product such as Brugal in Dominican Republic.
