A group of my friends wish to travel by car from Coronado and into Costa Rica in March this year for a pleasure road trip. Does anyone have any info on rental cars in Panama..good prices for rental cars, legal aspects of crossing border with a Panamanian rental car..and so forth.
I am not sure if the rental car company will allow? That does not mean you still cannot but it would probably invalidate any insurance. When I rented in October it did specify on the rental contract that I would not leave Panama.
