Airfares to Panama
Trying to book reservations from Atlanta/So. Florida for a week in April...finding fares to be very expensive, even from the Miami area. Have searched the discount websites and fares are still from $500/600-$1300. Any suggestions? Wondering as we get closer to April if the fares will go down. Thanks.

I just ran a search from Miami to P.C. and got $364 (w/o taxes & fees) for a 2-week trip 4/2-4/16 2008. Try Cheap Flights, Airline Tickets, Cheap Airfare & Discount Travel Deals - Kayak.com, which searches all of the discount sites for you. American Airlines is usually the cheapest from Miami, and Copa/Continental usually have the most flights.

Yapta
Set up Yapta to track the fare. You will be notified if the fare goes up/down. Yapta also gives you info about getting vouchers/refunds from the airline if you purchased tickets and the fare subsequently drops. The website is Yapta - Track Airfares, Save Money.

I just searched as I'm coming down in mid Marchfor several weeks. Fares were $520 RT USD out of NYC Non Stop if you book and travel with Continental between now and March 31,2008 they will give you double miles...not bad, not bad at all!

Anyone want to meetup at Coronado Beach & Golf Resort for drinks? ; )
