Thread: Travel from Colombia - Requirements

Hey all,
Considering meeting a novia from Colombia in PC. I have traveled Colombia to PC myself, but cannot exactly recall what was required. She has Colombian passport, but says no I.D. card- whatever that is different from the passport. Also, I don't believe she has a Yellow fever vacc. yet.

Please if you have first hand, reliable experience with a Colombian traveling to PC, tell me the scoop. thanks!

If I remember correctly (from a few years ago) she will need her Colombian cedula (id card) to exit Colombia. A passport is necessary to enter Panama but travelling on her own she will more than likely get a hard time from immigration. It is better if you wait for her at the airport, give her your cell number and prove to immigration (if necessary) that she will have enough money to support herself and doesn't intend to work. I have no idea bout yellow fever jabs.
