Confused about bringing in $$$$$$ into the country
I've recently read that people in the same party - such as a married couple - can not legally bring in $9,999 EACH. So my question is, if a couple came in and one of them declared $10,000 or more, would the other person NOT have to declare $9,999 they were carrying seperately??
I understand that credit, debit and atm cards are the way to go, and that it could be risky, but I really would like the answer to this specifically.
Re: Confused about bringing in $$$$$$ into the country
I think I have found a way to bring gold bullion into Panama undetected. I will do a dry run in January and let you know (after I move the goods) if it works. This loophole will be figured out eventually and closed I am sure. No it does not involve Tocumen.
