good idea, so far I haven´t found good roadmaps for driving. Any suggestions where to find that?

Not sure what happened there but Swedph in the earliest email left a space between the www and the rest of the syntax. Try taking his link www. map.com.pa and enter it into the Browser line but delete the space between www. and map and you should get the correct page as I did. Almost looks like some sneaky work took the correct URL and highjacked it to give the URL for whatever "hotel" thing that is. The sad thing is that it probably isn't even a human that does these things that I could throw a brick at, but probably an automated webcrawler.

Now updated with a interesting map of economic activity Maps of Panama, Countrymap, Citymap, Canalmap, Regionmap
In David we bought maps of the country, providence and the city of David.
They were much more detailed than any found on the web.
If interested I will scan a sample and post it.

These are scanned in images of some maps I bought in David.
They are in pdf format and the down load is 1 mb.
The scribbling on the David map is the location of Panama Bills, a gringo bar.

Yeah, The regional map is in color and I scanned it in B&W.
If its detailed enough, I'll upload that section in color.
The map is about20 x 30 so I can't scan it in its entirety.

The problem with maps online is that they only help me while I'm at home on my computer, but not when I am out trying to find where to go.
Yes but you can reach that webpage through a cellphone with internetcapacity, and then you can be almost everywhere.
I guess that's why people like those cellphones and the new iphone so much. Unfortunately, I don't have one yet!
I found these phones to be A LOT CHEAPER in Panama than in Europe, so thats good if you´re here. I dont no about the prices in the states, but think they are higher there too.
Luckily, the iPhone has recently come down in price a lot. In fact, I hear people who bought it right after it came out are mad because they paid so much more.
