No, the rules of 21 do very a moderate amount between casinos (and even somewhat withen the same casino). If you gamble seriously it makes a huge difference. Good rules for 21 give the house about a .35% advatage, while bad rules can be several percentage points to the house.
What this means pratically is that (for me) I can go to Vegas and play blackjack for hours on end (at $25/hand) on a trip and expect to lose a couple hundred dollars. This is fine by me for the entertainment value (along with casino comps). But if the rules are bad, I would be expecting to lose more like $1000, which is too much.
To be honest, on this trip I probably will just drop in and play a few hands, so I will take lee's advice and just relax and have fun
