Greetings!
A friend and I will be heading down to Panama for a short trip (9/12-9/17). We're arriving late evening and leaving really early our last day so it's only really 4 full days. We were hoping to get some advice on whereabouts. I've read suggested itineraries but in our case, we're not much of a walkaround town kind of people. We're more of an outdoorsy go out and do kind of people (hiking, snorkeling, exploring). I think we are planning on doing the canopytower thing in Soberania for one full day but that leaves us 3 days afterwards in which to figure out what areas to checkout. My friend suggested Sabanitas and Portobelo. Any other possible ideas? We don't really want to travel too far out of the area due to time contraints but would love to get to the coast for some beachtime.
If you stop by Panama City for a short while, you could stay in Amador where you have a beautiful view on the Panama canal and can go for a walk around a small harbor.... and you could go for a short hike (about 2 hours) in the Metropolitan Park, where you can watch monkeys eat and baby crocodiles.

It sounds like fun. I will try to check out Amador for a while.
