    Wink Golf Courses in Panama

Ok now that I am semi retired, I am looking forward to playing some golf on my next visit. I have seen the courses out at Coronado and they look great but was wondering about courses closer to the city. Any recommendations?

The last time I was stationed in Panama, there were two military courses - HOROKO (HOward AFB, ROdman Naval Station & Ft KObbe on the west side of the Bridge of the Americas and the other was at Ft Amador. I've got no idea if those courses are still open - the last time I played either of them was in 1999.

There are two courses close to/in the city. Toucan Country Club in Howard (it used to be an old US course), it is about 2 exits past the Puenta de Las America. The other is Summit Golf Course. It is on your way to Gamboa on the Panama Canal. Summit is the more expensive of the two. It also has a Radison Hotel.
