La Critica - All-Stars Mariano Rivera and Carlos Lee head the list of 53 baseball players who were summoned to train for the team that will represent Panama in the World Baseball Classic. Lino Diaz, Operations Manager of the Panamanian team, officially presented the list which includes other big-league players such as Carlos Ruiz, Manuel Corpas, and Manny Acosta. The roster contains talented players who are now playing at the professional level, among them left-handed thrower Eliécer Navarro of the Pittsburgh Pirates, Cleveland Indian's fielder Cirilo Cumberbatch, and the prospect for the New York Mets, Rubén "El Rookie" Tejada.

Los jugadores "Todos Estrellas" Mariano Rivera y Carlos Lee encabezan la lista de 53 peloteros que fueron convocados a los entrenamientos del equipo que asistirá al Clásico Mundial de Béisbol.


Lino Díaz, Gerente de Operaciones del equipo panameño, presentó, de manera oficial, el listado que incluye a los grandes ligas Carlos Ruiz, Manuel Corpas y Manny Acosta.


La plantilla muestra a jugadores con mucho talento en la pelota profesional, entre ellos el lanzador zurdo Eliécer Navarro de los Piratas de Pittsburgh, el jardinero de los Indios de Cleveland, Cirilo Cumberbatch y el prospecto de los Mets de Nueva York, Rubén "El Rookie" Tejada.
