I understand the recent protests were caused by an autobus crash? Does anyoneone have more information?

It was actually a bus fire that killed 18 people. It happened about a month ago (late October) and was presumably caused by a fuel leak.

As far as I know, the cause for the controversy is that the victims' relatives demand (financial) compensation from the government, which has so far refused to pay.
