Thread: New flights to Panama City!

Dear all,
maybe you are also Interested in flights from Europe to Panama or from Panama to Europe.
The Airline Condor (? Frankfurt - Panama - Condor Flüge)
flys from the 04.11.2010 - 29.04.2011 from Germany (Frankfurt) to Panama (Tocumen) and of course also back.

Because Frankfurt is one of the biggest Airports in Europe, I am shure that you can find also a lot of connection flights to other countries, if Germany is not your final destination.

No nation travels more than Germans. This is good news for Panama. Make them happy (not hard to do) and they will keep coming back. Some can turn into very loyal customers that come back year after year to the same hotel. and don't forget, most Germans have 6 weeks vacation and 18 bank holidays.

In case you want to get started learning German. (All pronounced very similar to Spanish, except the H really is an H)

Ive been checking out Condor airlines....but I only found flights from frankfurt to Panama via santo domingo.....are there also direct flights?! KLM flies directly Panama City - Amsterdam and all the american airlines fly Panama City - Somewhere in USA - Somewhere in EU....

What is the avg cost of this flight?

I am currently looking at flights from Orlando, Florida and they're on average $380- for return flight BUT, if you book a hotel with your flight, you save quite a lot! Check out "lowfares.com"... hope this will be helpful to you! Also check out flights via Ft.Lauderdale or Miami.

I pay the extra amount to fly out of Orlando just avoid Ft. Lauderdale. The TSA there are very rude and there are long lines. Their attitude represents all that is bad with low level govt workers who get a little bit of power. I experienced it everytime. My advice pony up a little more money and fly from Orlando.

I've flown out of Fort Lauderdale (because of Spirit) a few times and didn't find it any different that any other airport. People were fine and I don't remember lines being long. The problem with the Spirit flight to PC is that it arrives and leaves around 3 AM. I hate that. I'm going to look harder at other airlines in the future.

I used to fly spirit with connecting flight to panama via Ft. Lauderdale. You have to recheck your bags in Lauderdale which is a real pain. Copa flies direct with no layover. Spirit has a little bit cheaper flight but for less hassel, and not having to fly the red eye I now choose Copa.

25 Nov 2010- Thanks for Ft. "L" warning. Am connecting to Ft. "L" to PTY from Los Angeles via Detroit connection 19 Jan. Will make special effort to smile a lot & "kill'em with kindness". Done this b-4 elsewhere & works most of the time.

I was looking at the Condor website and I noticed I can't select Panama as the "From" airport ...and only via Santo Domingo??

Condor's site isn't much good, try using this website and it does go via Santa Domingo.

26 Nov- Hi, fleeted...Thanks for helpful info. Am flying Spirit for 1st time. Anything I should know in advance? Outside Tocumen Airport, can I get city bus directly to Albrook Bus Terminal (ABT) or, need bus to Panama City for bus to ABT?
