The National System of Civil Protection (SINAPROC) of Panama has declared green alert due to the rains in the provinces of Bocas del Toro, north of Veraguas and the coasts of Colon.

According to specialists this alert is made when there is a possibility of an event that can place the population at risk.

The measure went into force Monday noon and continues until March 11, indicated the institution, as a result of recent predictions of rainfall from light to moderate in the region.
