Shakira was on hand in Panama City on December 12th to help launch the ALAS Foundation (America Latina en Accion Solidaria - ‘’Latin America for Solidarity'’).
The foundation is helping Latin Americans unite to fight various causes, mainly hunger and poverty, by putting on large humanitarian concerts to raise money and support.
Panama is so lucky to have Shakira visit them! I always admire her as an artist and hope to see her in person. Plus, it is always nice to see celebrities work for a good cause.
Shakira is one of the best singers I've known so far, it's good that she visited Panama for a good cause. She could be a model to all artist who are very successful on the business so far.
She is really one successful artist. I hope that famous people would not stop sharing their blessings to the needy. Aside from giving them a good image, there is really nothing wrong if you try to reach out and help other people.
