Wars in Panama?

Have there ever been any wars or violent conflicts in Panama? If so, when did they happen and how did they turn out?

According to popular history, Panama wasn't 'caught' between the Columbian and U.S. forces; Panama used the help of the U.S. (much to the benefit of the U.S.) to rid itself of Columbian rule, and continuing imperialistic leadership tactics. And, of course, all of this mess started with the Spanish explorers in the 15th century...but that's another story.

Cheers.

There was a few times U.S. troops fought somePanama people in Panama. Generally, those were in the interest of Panama as a while, because the U.S. would attack the thugs in Panama, whether those thugs were revolutionaries or the military.

There have been few wars in Panama...But the most famous was the invasion of America in 1989..Americans nearly had 3000 recruits in the war..

The Panama Deception

The 1989 U. S. incursion of Panama was no more a war than taking candy from a baby is a fight.
