    What do students learn?

What do they teach children in Panama's schools about the country's history? Did you go to school in Panama? What did you learn about history?

I think most schools just teach a bunch of plain facts, like dates and names. I don't remember much from my school days because of that. It would be better if they showed how history relates to the current world, and showed how much disagreement there is about history.
