Are there any good books about Panama's history? Have you read any book about Panama history?

I read "How Wall Street Created a Nation" by Ovidio Diaz Espino a couple of years ago. It's about Panama's separation from Colombia and the story behind the Panama Canal. A pretty intriguing read but probably only one side of the story.

Thanks for the book tip, Randy! I will see if my local library has it. If not, I will consider ordering it from Panama.

you can read "the history of panama"by harding,the book has a good amount of information from the division of panama by the british,the rail road to its final unification into a great democracy.
