Are there any good books about Panama's history? Have you read any book about Panama history?

I read "How Wall Street Created a Nation" by Ovidio Diaz Espino a couple of years ago. It's about Panama's separation from Colombia and the story behind the Panama Canal. A pretty intriguing read but probably only one side of the story.

Thanks for the book tip, Randy! I will see if my local library has it. If not, I will consider ordering it from Panama.

Sorry Craigguy, I do not have any book tips of my own.

    The History of Panama

Although I haven’t read this book but I think you should try this one out. The name of the book is “The History of Panama (The Greenwood Histories of the Modern Nations)” and it is easily available on amazon.com
