The Panama Canal leads from the Bay of Panama (Pacific Ocean) to the Miraflores Locks, Pedro Miguel Locks, through the Gaillard (Culebra) Cut, and ultimately through the Gatun Locks and out to the Limon Bay, which is part of the Caribbean Sea.

The first picture is a great map. It really shows the canal very well.

just try to watch panama canal with Google Earth.. it's supreme you can see every detail of it

You do not need any coordinates to find the Canal in Google Earth or Google Maps; just type in 'Panama Canal' and you will be taken directly to it. Ah, the joys of software!

If you have a color printer, you can print out the map in the first post. The map is very clear, so it should print well.

It's indeed a very nice map, it's vivid and portrays it well. As for the Google Earth version of it, it's a lot better in the sense that it looks more realistic (since it uses satellite images rather than a "sketch." However, for practical use the map is good enough. But if you really wanted to see it, the best way is either to go there in person or use Google Earth which is free, in case anyone was wondering. Yes there is a paid version, but it's not necessary if you want just the basic features, which shows you the whole world anyway. So no need for the pro unless you want the bonus features.

Um...Panama is a country! A thin country located between Costa Rica and Columbia, just to the northwest of continental South America.

I like the first map very much because it is clearly showing an unique thing,Watch clearly you will notice a PC (Panama Canal) in between
P (Pacific ocean) and C (Carribean sea). That was awesome.

I've always believed that if you out in the work , the result will come. I don't do things half heartedly. Because I know if I do, then I can expect half hearted

Just looking at this map and trying to figure out if there is a road or bridge across the Canal at the Gatun locks that would connect one side of the Canal with the other side. I don't see a bridge, road crossing, or anything that looks like a tunnel entrance on Google maps. Is there any way to cross the canal at this end or do you have to drive all the way to Panama City to cross over?
