Thread: Panama Foundation/Corp. opening a swiss account.

Hello for all!!!


This is my first post here. It's not about Panama bank account, but a can't find a better place to ask.

Does anyone has knowledge about difficulty to a (new) Panama Private Foundation (and it's own Corp.) open a swiss account?

I'm not US-Citizen.

Yes, it's simpler than opening an account in Panama for the corp/foundation once you have found a bank that will accept you. They will be expecting some assets to move into management normally.

Its not as difficult as other jurisdictions if you set up a foundation in Panama and the lawyer supplys the director, vice pres and secretary you will need all of their documents notirized.
Unless you go to swiss you will need all of your stuff notorized and usually its got to be within a 3 month period, apart from a lot of paperwork your biggest problem will be the Panamanian lawyer.

The more you have the more of a positive response you will have from the banks

Does it have to be swiss lots of other places to open an account (if your a geeza its easier?)

I'm thinking about a Panama Foundation with assets in swiss francs and maybe Euro (for long time investment), due to I'm looking for swiss banks and because the excellent asset management of the swiss professionals. That's foundation owning a Cayman Islands Corp. with a US$ account, maybe a cayman account.

Any advise for this setup?

*At now my assets are in a swiss bank, I'll merge for the Foundation Account.

At now I'll pay A LOT OF attention looking for the better lawyer/law firm possible in Panama (or Cayman), costs matter but peace of mind too... hauhauhau
