Thread: Panama Merchant Account for E-Commerce

Hi Friends,

Does anyone know of any banks in Panama that provide merchant accounts for e-commerce?

I did a whole heap of research today (about 4 hours) and couldn't find a great deal.

Any help would be very much appreciated,

There are a few, among them Multibank and Credicorp. Compared to a US processor you will have a 20 % reject rate so you need a backup processor in the US. Minimum monthly processing is usually $10,000 with a rolling reserve and a time deposit of 10-20,000 as security.

Are they the 2 main one's that offer merchant services, or would you possibly know of any others?

Great guide too in your link...could have done with that yesterday when I was doing my research Just a quick question in regards to your site...is the banks with the rating AAA the best ones, or is A the best rating?
