If you can travel a bit, then Cordillera de Talamanca will be a perfect choice. Especially in and around the La Amistad National Park. Wildlife is just stunning. A long way from Panama City though. But if you can travel all the way, then the trip will be worth it.

All those areas are beautiful - but way too far from Panama City to live.

    Is anyone familiar with Capira?

    Or Cerro Azul?

    Or Altos Del Cerro Azul?

Los Altos de Cerro Azul is located just half an hour from Panama's Tocumen International Airport and on a clear day in Altos de Cerro Azul you can have a terrific view of both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.

The wildlife is unique and abundant in Cerro Azul and the most common is Foxes, White-faced Capuchin, Ant-eater, Sloth, Squirrels, Coatimundi, Agouti, Peccary, White-tailed deers, Howler monkey, Red Spider Monkey, Jaguar, Olingo, Two-toed Sloth, ocelot, Jagarundi, Harpy eagle and Guan.

    Best of luck!!!!

I've been to Cerro Azul and it's nice, but I probably wouldn't want to live there. It's about 90 minutes from downtown Panama.
