Thread: Arcades?

Are there any arcades in this area? I'm a fan of video games, and would like to meet other arcade players while I''m over there.

Also, I'd prefer if it's the stand alone arcades geared more at teenagers/adults rather than the kid arcades as I'm a bit too old for those

Yes that's true that there's a lot of websites where you can play them online, however they are usually simple games and the great thing about the arcade is the authenticity of the joystick and buttons. That's what makes playing a game at an arcade so much fun.

I think you not need to be worried about arcade games over there. Surely you can find it there but why not you just bring your laptop and just get in online. That better right?

Yeah but like I said it's just not the same. I guess for me it's more of a nostalgia type of thing as I used to love playing on those machines as a kid. So it brings back those memories, plus it's a great place to socialize with others of similar interest.
