Thread: Trip to Panama

Hi all
We are flying to PTY on Christmas day and leaving on the 4th of Jan. Will be traveling with our kids who are around 30 and are quite experienced travelling Latin and South America and are fluent in spanish. My wife and I are in our late 50's with little travel experience in foreign lands and about the only spanish we know is Cerveza (which may be all we need). Looking for ideas for the 4 of us to travel. Like the looks of the San Blas Islands, Azuero Penisula, Isla Coiba and Bocas's Del Toro. My wife and I are probably not as adventerous as our children, but willing to be more adventuresome than normal.
Also my wife and I would like to explore the idea of spending winters in Panama in a few years when we can escape the rat race, but thinking of this trip as an introduction and not a fact finding mission.
Any ideas that would work in our time frame would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
