Thread: fxr from USA giving it a go in Panama

Hello Everyone,

I have been in Panama for about 3 months now and have filed for Pensionada status. My attorney says it is a 3-6 month process. I filed about 1 month ago. No problems to this point. I opened a bank account in 1 hour at a new bank and it was a breeze. I am having a motorcycle shipped from the USA. In fact, the ship leaves today from Miami. I had problems finding a reasonably priced shipper in the US but I think I have all the bugs ironed out and it should be smooth sailing from here on out. Its all about having your ducks in a row. No need for the horror stories if a person is properly guided and advised.
I really enjoy it here and generally find it relaxing and interesting. I have wanted to do something like this for a long time. Its good to be with you all and I will be reading the Forum from time to time for your experience.
