at 3 pm you will be getting into the traffic heading home , sundays are great , on weekdays 10 - 2 are the best . if you are worried because you are renting a car , just take a cab to your hotel and rent one in town , i am not sure if they deliver to hotels or not . if you have never been here, it can be a bear to find your way around ,

ok , now think about this , if you get into the airport at 3 , you will get out about 4 , then to Albrook about 5 , , now you have a 5 hour ride ahead of you to Los Tables , now it is 10 and you need to take a taxi out to the hotel -10.30 at best . i honestly believe you should stay in the city for the night and leave in the morning . it would be a long ugly day to get in that late and leave for Loa Tables .

Re: Hello to everybody in this forum,

I hope it works for you as well. If it were me, I'd just assume that something (possibly even many things) is going to go wrong and I need a fall back position. I absolutely hate traveling under time constraints. But that is just me. I'd stay in PC for the night and get a fresh start in the morning and have lots of time; not that anything could go wrong in Panama.

Go oft awry.... but that was in a civilized country mind you and before the FAA, TSA and countless other abbreviations restricting mobility.

I can see the headlines in front of me: "Man checks sanity, leaves airport without it".

So i arrived to Hotel and then took a taxi to nearest town ( Rio Hato) for $5.
Then i took a bus to Las Tablas $6. Probably i did not save much $ but i saved about 1.5 hours of time. I was in las Tablas bus station at about 10:45PM, took a taxi $6 to El Uverito beach,Hotel Posada del Mar, which i have booked prior to departure.
But to my big astonishment there where no body in hotel. But to my big astonishment there where no body in hotel. So here i am at night no one around only two little very friendly dogs. Hotel is closed and dark inside with no sign of human any were. There was phone number on the sign of hotel. Fortunately my cell phone provider has coverage in Panama, so i call the number and there was recording machine, no one to talk too. But before my trip (thanks to you people) i took the phone numbers of taxi in las Tablas just in case, which probably save's me (other wise i would spend a night on the beach) so i call the taxi came and drove me to town Hotel Piamonte $ 22. where i spend my first night in Panama. I met lot's of expats at Oceanos, The owner Mike was very helpful providing me a ton's of information about Panama, and Las Tablas area in particular. I had chance to go to Isla Iguana with the Robert, owner of B&B La Rosa del los Vientos. I have to tell you that La Rosa del los Vientos it is really great place to stay in Pedasi area, check it out at Bed and Breakfast Pedasi - Pedasi Hotel Lodging Accommodation Beach Close Surf Isla Iguana Tour.
Isla Iguana to me was like Paradise island, just like in movies (see attached photos)
