    Fixin' to come visit ya'll !!!!

    Hi there! My husband and I are coming to Panama for the month of August. We are from Texas, and would like to meet with others who have retired in Panama, or have vacation homes. We have done some research on the subject, but really want to meet and explore as much as possible while we're there!! We'll be staying @ Playa Blanca. Hopefully we'll get to meet some of you!!

    There is a bar/restaurant/hotel in Santa Clara (away from the beach--make a left if coming from Playa Blanca) that is run by Dennis and Sheila from the U.S. They have been here for 15 years and written up in all the travel guides. There always seems to be expats hanging around the place. Dennis and Sheila are full of very useful information and have seen it all!!

    People come from the city just to have her burgers and homemade fries. They won the 2011 Pacific Beaches Best Burger Award. She is always having specials from hamburgers to full dinners. They are also a sports bar with big screen TVs.
