    Panama Bound

    Hi,

    I am from the US and plan to travel to Panama soon as a possible retirement
    spot.

    Does any one live in Santiago or on the Azuero penninsula?

    Would like to know about the weather,rentals,transportation.

    Hi Watcher, welcome to the forum. The weather in Santiago and the Azuero is hot & humid, there are rentals, and lots of public transportation.

    I have been in Santiago for a month. Tomorrow is my last day here. Not my choice to come here or leave. For a place not in the mountains or near the beach it is actually pretty good. That being said I have not done a single touristy thing here. Its great being close to the highway but not having the highway the main street. Everyone is friendly.
