Thread: Cowboy Bob

Howdy:
I made many trips thru the Canal as a Merchant Mariner in the early 70's. I think I would like to find a quiet a place to watch ships going in and out of the canal that has no dogs barking or insomniacal roosters. Colon seems to have a high crime rate. Are there any anchorages to view on the Pacific side? How do you think the Policia would deal with a pensioner who dealt with criminals on his own?

If you shoot someone here they will put you in prison (maybe for a few years) until a judge can clear you. Should be fine if in your own home.

nakedguy: You're right. I have traveled through Latin America from California to Patagonia so I was probably having a senior moment as to what universe I was in. Thanks for the reality check. FYI Ecuador has some quiet places. I think they eat the dogs and the roosters don't have anything to crow about.
