Thread: Greetings from the snowy Cleveland, Ohio USA area. Hoping to see Panama before long.

Hello-

My wife and I are seriously considering visiting Panama for a month later this year or next to see if it's a good retirement fit for us. From my readings, it doesn't sound like we'd be interested in Panama City, but more likely the Boquete area, and east and west coasts' beach areas. Not sure whether to try to line up a furnished rental before arriving, or wait until after we get to Panama.

Any suggestions, thoughts or advice on anything having to do with our future trip would be sincerely appreciated.

well seeing you do not know were you might be interested in , and you are only coming for a month , then you need to travel and find your perfect spot, if it is even here in panama , so rent a car for the month and start looking .

Just come and wander around. There's always places to stay (unless there is a festival going on).

Keep coming back to the forum. There are 4 or 5 different couples visiting Panama, some there now as I type and others shortly. Also look all over this site as many have relayed there travel , and their relocating experiences. Many good posts from friendly people with like ideas. Dennis
