Thread: Wanting a friend(s)

Hello, I'm looking for a friend/friends to talk to who lives in Panama. Someone long term so I can keep in contact with for when I move down there, and who speaks English. I'm moving from Alberta, Canada so we are looking forwards in missing the really really cold weather. My wife and I are really looking to move there in a few years, once we get things set up here. We are both still young late 20's and have been talking about moving to Panama for a long time now. I'm right in the middle, in Red Deer. Go Oilers Go lol... Yeah we will probaly miss the cold to, but right now it sucks. When did you move to Panama?

Not moving for another few years? What are you going to do down here...and why do you need to wait a couple of years?

hi steve , i got here in nov 07 , panama has some warts , but everywhere does , it is a great country if you can roll with the punches , for the most part the people are super , the ocean full of fish , and great beaches , and it is real warm here , you know , opposite of alberta LOL . so what do you do in red deer ?

Yeah opposite will be nice, lol I'am a oil tool machanic for the oil field, have been for the last 15 yrs. or so. Are you retired? How hard was it to get a permanent residents visa? Was it long to become a permanent resident?
