    Re: Copa

I have always had my eyes on COPA once I have all my flight ratings. I hear good and bad things about the company in regard to how they treat their flight crew. Have you researched them on Jetcareers.com and pprune.org?

Are you a Panamanian citizen or will you be coming in as an expat?

I'm and expat...us thanks for the info! I just started looking around for information. It looks like a nice area and the women look attractive.

    Re: Copa

I haven't been to Panama in 13 years but what I remember was amazing! My assumption is that you're on the Q for a regional in the states. You probably already know that COPA's minimums are 5000 TT for Captains, 1000 TT for First Officers however I don't think that they are currently hiring FO's.

Did you have any specific questions on Panama? I may not be the best to answer them since it has been so long since I lived there, however I'm sure the others here would be glad to help out.

    Re: Copa

I've applied for the 737 Captain. I'm currently flying the Q, but have many hours on the Jet. I heard that the pay and work rules are not that good. I'm just thinking about it???? I should take a couple of days and look around the area, maybe talk to a few pilots working at Copa could help. Thanks for taking the time to help out.
