Hi!
Welcome to the forum.
Unless you have your work permit papers you probably won't find employment. The easiest way is to be hired by a U.S. company to work in PANAMA. PANAMA really protects its people and if there is a Panamanian that can do the same job you want to do you really don't have a prayer.
Possibly contact John Hopkins because they are associated with Punta Pacifica in Panama City. Another thing is don't expect anywhere near the wages in the U.S.

Thank you Mary. I am vaguely aware that there will be impediments. I have just begun to explore the details and possibilities. I'm very good at what I do. That will help me, I'm sure. I have begun contact with potential employers. I have loads of work available to me in USA in the meantime.
Have any members here encountered American health care providers in Panama?
Hi!
I have personally dealt with the hospitals down here now and 14 months ago. I had 4 U.S. trained onocological/gyn surgeons. That is probably as close as you are going to find in PANAMA. They have a medical training hospital for doctors, nurses, etc. I know my surgeons said if you had a private practice you had to donate so much time to the social security hospitals. I was in a social security hospital in the city for 10 days for ovarian cancer and had excellent care, even with my limited Spanish.
