    New To Panama

Just joined, looking for general info from those with Panamanian experience. We have lived in and out of Latin America in the last 20 or so years, no rookie to the Latin experience. Quick question for Panama. In general for a small home in a quiet, safe location where should we look for a retirment home. I am not a closed gate person and do not mind living within the Panamanian communities. Any recommendations? We are in excellent health and travel without problems. Looking for some general names for reasonably priced zones.

    Thanks.

    Hi!
You need to narrow it down even further to start looking. Do you want city, beaches, farm, or mountain areas. How close do you want to be to shopping, hospitals, cultural aspects, city life, etc.? The country is very diverse in all of these. I would suggest coming down and staying here to narrow it down. Everything has its pros and cons.
