I live in Las Vegas and in SoCal.
I bought a unit at Nikki Beach and one at Megapolis.

OK, I assume you are aware that Nikki Beach is a resort primarily catering to the gay crowd (See Hotel Details on Expedia: This property caters to gay and/or lesbian guests.). Megapolis could be finished in late 2012, if things go really well.

you must be attempting a joke on a newbie. having been to Nikki Beach clubs and knowing the founder Penrod and the local owner Galvez, all I can say is, if you are gay I would not suggest you go there and try to pick up another guy.

Personally, I have nothing against homosexuals and may have bought in Nikki anyway, since it is only an investment and the Nikki style is a bit young and over the top for a codger like me.

I am in no hurry for Megapolis, however I think your late 2012 timeline is a guess and will probably not be accurate.

Go to Expedia and look it up then.

I called Nikki Beach and was told that they ARE hosting SOME gay events at the club. Gay money spends like all the rest.

It sounds like a little homophobia is going on. Are you in denial.

You mean on their end? Such as not hosting enough gay events or?

There are gay cruises, gay neighborhoods, gay bars, gay resorts. Nothing wrong with that, they just won't be my regular cruises, my local bars etc.

This place is pushing gay customers on a day-to-day basis through international booking agencies and hosting other 100 % gay events.

Sounds like a little hetrophobia to me.

Is Nicki near Playa Blanca ?

I believe it is at Playa Blanca area. We tried to visit there back in June. A local resturante owner there told us "the name has changed and it is not the same place". Now I know what he meant.
