Thread: Shipping a car to Panama

Hi there,

Is there anyone out there who has successfully shipped a car from the US or Canada to Panama?

I am collaborating on a guide book about living in Panama, and one of the aspects we want to include, is shipping your car here. If anyone has done it and would be willing to share this information, I would be very grateful.

I need to know: if you used a door-to-door service and if not, how did you get it here, where you shipped it from, how long did it take to ship and how long to get out of customs, approximate price, the make, model and year of your car, paperwork required, any other relevant information, and finally, was it worth it? Would you do it again?
