Please call me Meshi. My wife and I live in Sasktchewan Canada. It is a sparsely populated province. It is a beautiful province and one can live quite happily here as long as one can get away during the winter even for a short period.
We are planning to live in Panama during the winters and have applied for the pensionado visa (step 1)
We are waiting for some papers to be apostilled for step2. It is a slow process.
While we love Panama City and El Vallee,Boquete ; I was dissapointed with Colon. Especially as it is a large free trade zone. The security at the hotel was somewhat intimidating leading me to believe that there could be a problem here.
We have lived and visited many countries and have seen areas which are dangerous but were surprised to see it in Panama (Colon)especially after the glorious reports by International Living.
