Thread: Good Afternoon

My desire is to move to Panama this year as a pensionado. I welcome all comments from folks in Panama or who are thinking of making the move. The higher elevations appeal to me because of the moderate temperatures. I want to get out of the rat race and seek a peaceful existance in a beautiful setting. I am not wealthy by any stretch--pretty much an ordinary American guy.

Hola John, welcome aboard to PanamaForum. My sincerest suggestion would be to start viewing the threads and reading as much as possible. I think you will find there are allot of questions that have been answered as well as new questions you probably have never thought of. I have been spending time recently in the town of El Valle. This is highlands, 1.5hrs outside of Panama City, easy bus ride or drive. Great climate, very relaxed, friendly people, interesting expats, and even some cute women that still have their front teeth.
